Jamie Bell set to strip for Equus

It no longer looks like Jesse Metcalfe is set to replace Daniel Radcliffe in West End play Equus.

Instead Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell, 21, is reported to be the next young actor to get his kit off in the controversial show.

‘Jamie is really excited about taking over and isn’t at all daunted about stripping off,’ a source tells the Daily Mail.

We bet he isn’t. Such a move is more than likely to get him back in the headlines again.

Billy Elliot star JAMIE BELL is set to strip off for the London stage when he succeeds DANIEL RADCLIFFE in EQUUS later this year (07).
Bell will replace the Harry Potter actor in the Peter Shaffer play at the Gielgud Theatre, after movie star Orlando Bloom reportedly turned down the role.
A source says, “Jamie is really excited about taking over and isn’t at all daunted about stripping off.”

GIRLS ALOUD DENY SPLIT REPORTS

British pop group GIRLS ALOUD have rubbished reports they are to split this year (07), branding the continuing rumours “boring”.
The LOVE MACHINE stars dismissed media speculation the five girls were to go their separate ways in September (07), insisting they are busy preparing for their tour in May (07) and working on their fifth album.
Singer Cheryl Cole tells MTV, “We’ve had stories saying we’re going to split in the papers since our first album, it’s getting quite boring now.
“We’ve never been more successful or had as much fun which is probably why people are looking for some sort of problem. Me and the girls are really excited about the tour and the new album later in the year.”

HARRY POTTER author J.K. ROWLING is reportedly in talks to create a theme park based on her tales of the boy wizard.
British newspaper The Sun claims Rowling and Universal Studios are in negotiations to build a Harry Potter World in Orlando, Florida.
The park will include rides and rollercoasters based on Rowling’s best-selling novels.

Has the heavy schedule of treading the boards eight times at week for production Equus started to to take its toll on baby-faced Daniel Radcliffe’s skin?

The 17-year-old actor who made his name playing child magician Harry Potter in the J K Rowling appeared to have a collection of pimples on his forehead as he handed out an award at the Theatre Book Awards.
