Radcliffe gets $50m for two ‘Potters’?

The large figure is said to be down to his importance to the series and the fact that being type cast as Potter could harm his later career.
Radcliffe, although he did not confirm the amount, said proceeds from the
Potter
films meant he could pursue other, less profitable, projects without concern.
“Obviously, I’m in a very fortunate position where I don’t have to do things for the money,” he explained. “I can simply do them because there’s an interesting character and a good director involved.

He says, “I’ve got a pair of trousers that I think belonged to (muscled male strip troupe) The Chippendales at one point or something because they’ve got Velcro in and you rip them apart to get the harness on (for flying) then stick them back together.”

managers, he won’t see that
much of the cash, but it at least
allows him to explore and
experiment with his acting.

Pity poor Harry Potter moving in nervously for his first kiss.

It must have taken more than his wizard skills to dismiss the thought that not only was the film director treating the mouth-to-mouth moment with all the hushed reverence of a Hollywood sex scene but that just off-set a monitor showing the action was surrounded by crowds who had watched him grow up, egging him on and then becoming quite weepy at the sight.
