Tokyo may be about as far as you can get from the rolling green hills of Little Whinging, Surrey, which provide a panoramic opening to the latest Harry Potter film, but for the hundreds of people lucky enough to have secured tickets, it is immaterial. The world premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix rewarded Japan’s ability to generate sales. And it rewarded these lucky fans, seated in a state-of-the-art cinema in an uber-chic neighbourhood of Tokyo, most of all.

Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he no longer wants JK Rowling to kill off Harry Potter in the final book of the series.

Actor DANIEL RADCLIFFE does not enjoy being famous and hates the celebrity title.
The 17-year-old Harry Potter star say he often snubs celebrity parties, preferring to concentrate on his acting career.
He says, “(A celebrity) is someone who enjoys being famous for the parties and the glamour.
“The thing I love is the acting, the work. I don’t see myself as a celebrity.”
