Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) — Warner Bros. Entertainment and
author J.K. Rowling asked a judge to block a Michigan company
from publishing a dictionary of characters and creatures from
the “Harry Potter'' books. Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc., the world's
largest media company, and Rowling sued RDR Books today in
Manhattan federal court, saying the company plans to release a
400-page book entitled the “Harry Potter Lexicon'' next month.

His Excellency Vygaudas Usackas feels that Cameron is dissin’ his homies. The Lithuanian’s specific complaint relates to Cameron telling members of the Arts Council: “I hope you won’t be giving grants to too many one-legged Lithuanian lesbians.”

Lily Allen’s brother, Alfie is reportedly set to take the lead role in play Equus, the same role Daniel Radcliffe played, which which will require him to perform in the nude, just as Radcliffe did earlier this year.
Lily Allen wrote a song about her younger brother, containing the lyrics “My little brother’s in his bedroom smoking weed. I tell him he should get up ‘cos it’s nearly half past three.” - but despite that, the show’s producer David Pugh had no reservations about Allen not turning up on time.

LDN singer Lily Allen has said she’s sure little brother Alfie’s got what it takes for his biggest acting role yet, as she’s seen it first-hand.
Alfie – immortalised in song by his sister on her debut album Alright, Still – is to take over from Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in Peter Shaffer’s play Equus.
And just like the young Hogwarts student, Alfie will be required to bear all on stage during the psychological drama.

Actor DANIEL RADCLIFFE was given magic lessons by conjuror PAUL KIEVE on the set of HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.
Professional illusionist Kieve taught the Harry Potter star a number of tricks after Radcliffe, 18, asked him for magic lessons during breaks in filming the third installment in the boy wizard movie series.
Kieve says, “I started teaching Daniel, at first in his breaks and then after filming.
“Sometimes he would play a guitar and I’d do tricks - we’d have a sort of magic musical jam! He was very good.”

But Sir Michael Gambon, who plays Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, found a more wizardly way to protect his whiskers as he filmed the next Harry Potter movie last night.

He wore a special magic sack over the trail of grey hair as he waited between takes on Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has broken up with her rugby player boyfriend, tabloid sources have said.
The 17-year-old starlet, who is set to play Hermione Granger in all seven movie adaptations of JK Rowling’s literary series, has called time on her relationship with Tom Ducker after dating for most of the year.
According to the Sun, Emma is "distraught" at the split from the Wasps youth player, who is also 17.

LILY ALLEN’s brother ALFIE is to star in the London production of EQUUS, taking over the lead role from DANIEL RADCLIFFE.
The 21-year-old actor was recommended for the role by the play’s writer William Shaffer who was impressed after seeing Allen’s performance in this year’s (07) Atonement alongside Keira Knightley.
The play will begin a nationwide tour of the U.K. in January (08).
