Palmer Lands Role Of Wonder Woman

Actress TERESA PALMER is hotly tipped to have landed the coveted role of WONDER WOMAN in GEORGE MILLER’s new film JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA.
Palmer was one several actresses who auditioned for the part including Minka Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, but speculation is growing that the Australian has won the race.
The 21-year-old stars in the December Boys alongside Daniel Radcliffe but is still relatively unknown in Hollywood.
Jessica Biel was thought to be Miller’s first choice to play the superhero but she turned the role down.
Murali Thalluri, who directed Palmer in Australian film 2.37, tells Moviehole.net, “I haven’t spoken to her so I don’t know if it is true, but if it is, I am over the moon. She is a rare and remarkable talent and will be great for this role. I’m very excited for her.”

Lily Allen’s brother takes ‘Equus’ role

Lily Allen’s brother Alfie has signed up to star in a revival of classic play
Equus
, filling the role previously taken by Daniel Radcliffe.
The 21-year-old will play Alan Stang in the production, which tells the story of a stableboy who has an erotic relationship with the horses that he tends.
Lily sang about her brother in the track ‘Alfie’, which includes the lyrics: “My little brother’s in his bedroom smoking weed, I tell him he should get up ‘cos it’s nearly half past three.”

3 plays showcase Britain’s brand of sentimentality

It's easy to think of the London stage as a stranger to sentimentality, especially if you've been involved in one of the numerous American shows to have fallen afoul of local tastes for exactly that reason. The late Wendy Wasserstein was often rapped on the knuckles in London - a city she loved - for taking the easy way out in her plays, her emotional generosity, perhaps, mistaken for the sentimental. The S-word has surfaced with regard to other major American dramatists, from Terrence McNally and Neil Simon to, rather surprisingly, Tony Kushner, who fared a lot less well when his epic, two-part “Angels In America” was revived here this past summer than at the time of the play's British premiere in the early 1990s.

Dancing Star Was Harry Potter Extra

DANCING WITH THE STARS ballroom professional JULIANNE HOUGH was an original star of the HARRY POTTER movies.
The dancer, who has teamed up with racing driver Helio Castroneves in the current season of the reality TV contest, played “a little Gryffindor” in Harry Potter + The Sorcerer’s Stone.
She recalls, “I gave Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter, a love note and a Valentine’s bear.”

Now that the Harry Potter saga is done and dusted, JK Rowling must be short of ways in which to keep people interested in her - which is presumably why she's taken to strolling around with her bra out like a common floozy.

Watson To Follow Radcliffe Onto The Stage

HARRY POTTER star EMMA WATSON wants to follow in the footsteps of her co-star DANIEL RADCLIFFE by performing on the London stage.
The 17-year-old actress hopes to land a part in a popular West End production - but doesn’t expect her dream to be realised any time soon.
She says, “I would love to be on the West End stage like Daniel at some point. I would love to try. I’m not ready for it right now but I would love to do it.”

‘Hary Potter’ star  Daniel Radcliffe has said that when he dies, that he plans to go out in true style -  after being inspired by a TV show.
18-year-old Radcliffe, who stars as a World War I soldier in new for-TV film ‘My Boy Jack’, told British newspaper The Sun: “I’d like my ashes to be fired out of a cannon with ‘Let him RIP’ on the urn. I saw it on TV once - brilliant!”

He says, “I was in Japan and someone held out a photo of him (Wood) for me to sign.
“I couldn’t say it in Japanese, so I wrote, ‘I’m not Elijah Wood but thanks anyway, Daniel Radcliffe’.
“If I was a bit more puerile I would have written, ‘The Lord of the Rings is rubbish’.”
