The final book in the wildly successful series will be made into two films, Warner Bros. officials told the Los Angeles Times. Producers are expected to announce Thursday, March 13, 2008, that J.K. Rowling’s last “Potter” installment, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” will be split into two parts on the big screen. The first film is slated for release in November, 2010, with part two following in May 2011.

After receiving a death threat, the ‘Harry Potter’ star was assigned a security team of ex-SAS soldiers. Radcliffe now wants the specially-trained guards to walk his two Border Collies because he is petrified they will be kidnapped and killed by a crazed stalker. The 18-year-old star originally demanded 15 bodyguards, but he assigned four, all of whom are former members of the elite British army force, the Special Air Service.

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is being protected by four former SAS bodyguards after he received a death threat from a stalker.

His every move is being watched during filming for the sixth movie in the series, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. Radcliffe, 18, has had to switch cars three times, has been given a “chase car” to follow his vehicle, and his driver of seven years, seen as “part of the family”, has been told to stand down temporarily.
